Law connects – youth reflects

The 5th edition of the V4+ Law Student Summit, supported by our distinguished panelists, continues to serve as a platform for insightful discussions on some of the most pressing and relevant issues in the field of law. Building on the tradition of previous years, our aim is to encourage the exchange of ideas and perspectives on current legal developments and challenges. Our mission is to continue and broaden the professional discussions surrounding the most relevant topics that will surely help the students of the CEE region not only during their studies but hopefully throughout their professional legal careers as well. I’m truly excited to welcome you to the 5th edition of the V4+ Law Student Summit! Our mission remains unchanged: to strengthen the connections between law students and legal professionals across Central and Eastern Europe.
We all face similar legal dilemmas and challenges — ones that call for closer cooperation and open, meaningful dialogue. This Summit is the perfect place for that.

Here, law connects — fostering dialogue between systems, traditions, and perspectives – and youth reflects – by engaging in open discussion and comparative analysis contributing to a deeper regional understanding and cooperation.
Throughout the conference, we’ll be joined by outstanding experts who will guide us through some of today’s most pressing and debated legal issues, while we’ll also have fun in the capital of Hungary, Budapest.

The conference is organised by Mathias Corvinus Collegium. MCC is an institute in Hungary that has been nurturing young talents for almost 30 years. The main goal of the institute is to support highly gifted and talented young people. That means provision of free and high-quality training programs. To add more, MCC offers education opportunities for all ages. It gives their students opportunities to unfold their capabilities, broaden their minds, explore the world and a chance to learn from the best experts.To sum up, MCC supports young people who are committed to their country, willing to contribute to their local communities, and who feel responsible for their compatriots and their environment.

Costs

Thanks to our parent institution, the MCC and our sponsors, we can offer you the opportunity to attend our conference completely free of charge. This includes free attendance at professional lectures, accommodation and two meals a day. The only thing our guests are required to pay for is their travel costs.


Accommodation

The event will be held in the MCC Budapest building, located in Buda, close to the city centre. Guests will be accommodated near the building in a hotel.


Attire

We consider it essential to honour our performers in terms of appropriate clothing. We therefore encourage our guests to attend in formal smart attire. However, for sightseeing, we also recommend preparing with comfortable outfits.


Academic preparations for the conference

Participation in the conference does not require prior studies. However, participants are encouraged to gain an insight into the legal systems of the four countries in order to benefit from the most valuable professional experience possible.
