The theme of this year’s summit is the future of justice. With the help of our esteemed panelists, we will explore the different challenges that future lawyers may face in various areas of law. Our aim is to start a professional discussion about the questions the students of the CEE region will encounter in their future careers, while we seek to deepen the knowledge of the students on matters that will have an impact on their future regardless of which country they plan to work in as lawyers.

Although, the political alliance of the Visegrad Group seems to be on its peak, the professional and academic cooperation of the region still needs to be developed. The main reason of this controversy may be the lack of personal connections in these areas. I strongly believe that the time to improve this situation has arrived. An alliance based on the personal cooperation of the Central European intellectuals can make our countries and even the whole region stronger than it has ever been. A student summit may be the perfect start of this progress. These students are hungry for experience, relationships, knowledge and fun also. The V4 Law Student Summit is a great opportunity for you to experience all the above mentioned. This summit is the perfect step towards a deeper professional and academic cooperation within the Visegrad Group and it can lay down the foundation of a stronger Central European community.

Costs

Thanks to our parent institution, the MCC and our sponsors, we can offer you the opportunity to attend our conference completely free of charge. This includes free attendance at professional lectures, accommodation and three meals a day. The only thing our guests are required to pay for is their travel costs.


Accommodation

The building of the MCC Győr is located 50 metres from the main street and 100 metres from the Danube, in the heart of Győr's quiet baroque quarter, next to the cathedral. Guests will be accommodated in rooms for 2 and 3 persons. The lectures will also take place in this building.


Attire

We consider it essential to honour our performers in terms of appropriate clothing. We therefore encourage our guests to attend in formal smart attire. However, for sightseeing, we also recommend preparing with comfortable outfits.


Academic preparations for the conference

Participation in the conference does not require prior studies. However, participants are encouraged to gain an insight into the legal systems of the four countries in order to benefit from the most valuable professional experience possible.
